3 Ways to end Pain & Suffering

There are 3 ways to end Pain & suffering.

1 — the quickest one, of course, is the coward’s way — stop caring! See the enemy before you? Run away! Leave your brothers-in-arms at the enemy’s mercy & once they fall, the enemy will set upon one’s OWN family, people! But if you only care about yourself, there will be no pain or suffering!

If you are out walking & see a young mother by the sidewalk, begging for some food to feed her child, you might feel pain & suffering, but an uncaring selfish person feels nothing! Is it better to be the latter?

Basically, that is the idea of Heaven — stop caring for anything or anyone! Not even your OWN loved ones! Care only for yourself, your pleasure, self-gratification! Have you ever heard or seen a follower or “Journalist” ask — “Now that I am dead, how can I be happy in Heaven while my family is suffering? I was the primary breadwinner, how is my wife/husband putting food on the table for my children? Is my family homeless? My country was at war, millions are suffering. Mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, children at risk of rape, torture! And I am supposed to forget all that & enjoy myself?” NEVER! NOT ONCE!

You would be foolish to think SOMEONE would ask! There must be at least a few people who question the idea of living it up in Heaven, right? Amazingly you would think wrong! Somehow the idea of Heaven seems to bring out the worst in people — every question asked is selfish, self-gratifying — “Will I be happy in Heaven? Will I see all my DEAD loved ones again? How wonderful will Heaven be?”

In life we learn that nothing is Free, Given nor Easy! Success in life is a result of a lots of hard work, sacrifice, dealing with setbacks! There will be lot of dark days, days when we question ourselves, our abilities! And some of us never succeed!

If the goal of life is a rich, happy life, some look for quicker, easier ways. Which is quicker — Beg, Steal or Earn? Of course, the former two. And so, we have a lot of thieves in this world, some who use violence to get their way, break-ins, sell drugs, murder people and steal their money.

Another way is employed by sycophants, cronies, yes-men, prostitutes, Gigolos — they look for rich & powerful Sugar Daddies like Putin. They blindly believe, support, submit to, obey & sing his praises, hoping for a bone thrown their way. And the rich Sugar Daddy obliges — he finds them useful — use them against his enemies, keeping power! But he also views them with contempt and disgust for he knows what all their praises are for — it is not for him, but for his money, the rich life he can give them.

Sadly, the top religions of the day have reduced God down to a Sugar Daddy! They blindly believe, support, submit to, obey & sing his praises & hope to be rewarded with the pleasures of the flesh in Heaven! It is amazing to understand that not even the best of minds, most moral of minds can see how they disgust God! God views them with contempt & disgust for he knows what all their “love” for him is really for!

2 — The 2nd quickest way is what most Buddhists preach — get rid of desires, aspirations — THEN you will be happy! Are they right? Sure — let’s take an example — Student A wants top grades or marks. He stays up late, studying, worrying! Student B does not care for grades or marks. He is snoring away or taking in a movie with his date or watching a ball game! 

Which one is happier? Of course it is B! But amazingly when we ask which one do we want our kid to be more like? We say A! The one who is suffering! And we see the problem here — when we ask for nothing, nothing is what we get. Without desires, aspirations what is life? Just eat, poop & sleep? Is that it? Is that all life is to be? Then what is the difference between us and a Tree? A Dog? Most life forms on this earth do just that — they eat, poop & sleep — their life revolves around the 4 S’s — Sleep, Sustenance, Safety & Sex. We, alone, aspire for something higher — to be the next Mozart, the next Einstein! But along with such aspirations comes pain & suffering!

3 — so now, the 3rd way! The way Hinduism teaches us with Reincarnation. While the Coward, the weak run away upon seeing the enemy, saving their own skin, the Warrior, the Strong will run THRU the enemy! Run TOWARDS pain & suffering! Life is harsh but running away is not the answer. Life teaches us that. Once we come of age, we leave the nest — but why do that? Why not stay home & take advantage of our parents’ love for us? Let them take care of us? Why walk out into a cold, harsh world & face it head-on? As we see Heaven is a metaphor for the womb, childhood — billions thinking they can run back to Mommy, back to their childhood & this time stay helpless children for eternity! Makes me sick that these are top religions of the day!

As kids when we enter school, we find most lessons are easy, especially as adults when we look back at our old schoolbooks. The progressively the lessons get harder! The older we get, the harder the lessons! God is teaching us lessons thru life! We should not be scared of life & think we can run back to Mommy, but we should face life head-on! Understand that we are the Strong, we are the Warriors! Recently we went thru a tragedy — innocent children were swept away by floods in Texas! The Strong, the Warrior would want to be here on earth! To help save those kids! So many terrorist incidents, children have been killed! The weak, the coward wants to run away & hide from all this in Heaven, Barbie land!

God needs good, strong, tough Warriors here on earth to fight such disasters, terrorists, save the innocent.

Reincarnation, then is for the Strong, the Warrior! Answering God’s call. Sadly, there seem to be only a few Warrior Faiths like Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism asking us to answer God’s call. To not turn our backs on God, our country, people, loved ones!

God asks — IF NOT YOU, THEN WHO?

Nietzsche’s Super man! Ubermensch! That is us! We will fight pain & suffering; we will work to make this a better world!

Only one way to make our Father Proud!
