When humans first started to think about God, times were very tough, life was a bitter struggle and naturally people hoped and prayed for a super being to help them, comfort them. The dominant religions of today reflected that attitude, made God in the image of the most powerful man of those days, the king, master or Emperor. This super being is our savior, will save us from having to face a tough, difficult life. If we pray hard, this super being will give us eternal childhood; life in a protected bubble.

Heaven is a metaphor for the womb, childhood and the past. A yearning to go back to the wonderful days of our childhood. A time of zero worries or responsibilities, loved ones watching over us, protecting us, giving us love and affection. We were fed, clothed, shielded from the perils of life, basically we got to live in a bubble. Reincarnation then, stands for life, adulthood and the future. We cannot turn the clock back, we cannot live in the past, running away from real life is not the answer. We MUST move out of the nest and face life head-on. The future life depicted in the Star Wars movies will become a reality one day but it won’t build itself. We must work, sacrifice, make the right choices sothat the future dream world will come true.

Heaven is a metaphor for the Womb, Childhood & the Past, whereas Reincarnation stands for Life, Adulthood and the Future. Heaven seems to be a nice retirement home for those who have quit on life, no more responsibilities or worries – a Fantasy of the weak. Reincarnation, or Real Life, is for the Strong, the Warrior. Life is a Gift from God and thru Reincarnation we get to savor it over and over!
