Why the Buddha is a God!

Hindus consider the Buddha as a God, one of the ten incarnations of God Vishnu. But this God view has been misunderstood by Buddhists. This is not a magic, miracle God! Most people view God as one who will help us in need, and one does not have to perform magic or miracles to do that.

The Buddha is a HUMAN God, the same as God Rama. Neither one did any magic or miracles, neither one claimed to be a God. Both inspired humanity, showed us a better path thru life and hence such people are called Gods in Hinduism.

If say, we are in an accident on a lonely road at night, far away from humanity with little hope of rescue & suddenly someone appears out of nowhere and helps us get to safety, most people say, “You were sent by God!”, but Hindus say, “You came God-like!”

The Basic Namaste – the most famous word in Hinduism – says “I greet the God within you” – if we view ourselves as Children of God, God made all that we see before us – this universe, all these stars, planets, life forms were given birth to by God. Hence, we are his Children. And since our Parents teach us the ways of the world, they are also our Teachers, our First Teachers! Once we view God as a Parent, a teacher, we ask ourselves, what does any Parent/Teacher want from his Children/Students? To make them Proud! To do remarkable things that make them Proud! And we do that with our WORKS, Actions!

And the likes of the Buddha, God Rama, Einstein, Gandhiji and many more have shown the way!

But most people view God as a Master – the top two religions made God in the image of their Master of the past – the King, Dictator. Ancient people living under Kings, Dictators envisioned an afterworld that was similar to the life they had back then – a King, Dictator like Putin god demanding blind belief, loyalty, obedience, submission to him alone, sing only his praises and rewarding/punishing accordingly!

We see the likes of Putin, Kim Jong Un do not care for their subjects morals or values – all they care about is whether they believe in them, are loyal to them and them only, will blindly submit and obey them & those that do – sycophants, cronies – are rewarded with the good life, the rest suffer!

And now we see why “Good works or God’s Work, won’t get you into Heaven” makes sense. Dictators like Putin, Kim Jong Un have no use for morals, values, and good people.

These religions have reduced God to a King, a brutal Dictator, and their followers down to our Slaves/Servants. Their goal is not making our Parents, Teachers proud but self-gratification, self-pleasure. They have reduced God to a Sugar Daddy keeping his sycophants, cronies, prostitutes, gigolos in cozy comfort!

Amazingly not even the best of minds asks why any being would be keeping billions of people in an idle, lazy, useless, pointless, shameless free-loader existence for eternity!

Religion remains, by far, the very best at brainwashing even the best of minds!

And so please make a Choice – are you a Child of God or a Slave/Servant of Religion?

The goals, the responsibilities, the values are different.

And let me make an appeal to the Jewish people here – God needs you here on earth instead of wasting away in some fantasy Barbie land. Israel needs you, your people, loved ones need you to fight this unending hate – 2,000 years and counting. Such hate is not going away!

Here, you are given the opportunity to make God Proud! Here, we reach for the Hand of God! Good works or God’s Work may not get us into Heaven, but it is the ONLY way into God’s Heart! To make our Father Proud!

The Buddha HAD to be a God for us to understand what is possible, what we can achieve if we set our minds to it. Let us aspire higher than just cheap pleasures of the flesh, self-gratification!

To sit by the side of God, to EARN a place in God’s Heart as a Child of God or to be a Slave/Servant down on their knees on the ground, shaking with fear begging for mercy? That is the choice we must make.
