The reason I say this is that if one is to call God our Father, we must behave as God’s Children. Our works, our attitude, our terminology must reflect our status. As a Child of God we sit by God’s side, His arm around us, we seek a place in God’s Heart.
But Christians do not behave like Children of God – they behave more like Slaves/Servants of God. They view God as some sort of Sugar Daddy, their ticket to an everlasting life of ease & comfort. What Father does that? Welcoming His Adult Children back home, they sit in their old rooms and expect their Parents to cater to their comforts? No Father will do that. That would be failed Children who are out of their luck needing a place to stay for a while until they get back on their feet, it is at best a temporary stay with the Children ashamed to be living dependent on their parents.
In fact, I do not see a Master keeping his slaves/servants in cozy comfort and letting them sponge off him! Most Masters will work their Slaves/Servants do the death! The only Master that might do this is a Dictator like Putin who will let his sycophants, cronies, prostitutes live the easy good life sponging off him! But here, too, Dictators like Putin do not do this for free, thru the generosity of their heart, they expect these sycophants & cronies to serve them – back them up, take care of their enemies!
We don’t have to go as far as Dictators, we see rich movie stars, singers etc. – some of them are surrounded by cronies, sycophants, yes-men – in India they are called Chamchas – these men accompany these stars everywhere they go – he takes them to expensive restaurants, wine and booze flows freely – all paid for by the rich movie star or singer, of course! Then the party might move to the rich movie star or singer’s palatial mansion where more reveling will take place – the cronies & chamchas sitting around the rich guy, a lot of drinking going on and they sing his praises! Tell him what a great actor or singer he is! Others are nothing compared to him. And if any unfortunate soul were to insult the rich guy, their Sugar Daddy, these cronies will take care of him.
THIS is what goes on in Heaven? Honestly? THIS?
Take their Terminology also – “Commandments, Submit (Islam means submission), obey, beg, wrath, punish, mercy, forgive, Fear” – ALL Slave/Servant words! These are not the words of a child of God, but the words of a Slave/Servant.
What Father demands blind belief, obedience, submission, loyalty to him and him alone, sing only his praises and no other and if such demands are not met, will torture his own children for eternity in Hell?
What son, upon meeting his father, will get down on his knees, begging for mercy, shaking with Fear?
It is more than clear that these are Master/Slave religions. Of their OWN free will, Christians and Muslims have reduced themselves down to our Slaves/Servants.
There is a rational explanation for this – Ancient people living under Kings, Dictators envisioned an afterworld that was similar to the life they had back then – a King, Dictator like Putin god demanding blind belief, loyalty, obedience, submission to him alone, sing only his praises and rewarding/punishing accordingly.
In today’s world, which would be like living in Russia or North Korea.
Many sycophants, cronies of these brutal Dictators have done well for themselves, they have served these dictators well, supporting him blindly and punishing those innocents who were deemed not loyal enough – entire families have been killed, even children were not spared!
I cannot believe that these are the top two religions of the day! But there it is!
So, what is the explanation? Why would anyone reduce themselves from being a Child of God, a place by God’s side down to being a Slave/Servant down on the ground on his knees?
The answer: The Reward of Heaven!
As a Child of God there is no reward. As we have talked about, no Father is keeping his grown children in cozy comfort for eternity as they sit and sponge off him. But Slaves/Servants are promised such a life – endless days of comfort – the easy lazy life, no work, no worries – enjoy the easy good life forever and ever!
And as we have seen such a life is there only if God is some kind of brutal Dictator like Putin afraid of coups, enemies! And we know God is not that.
And yet, amazingly, even the best of minds drool over the prospect of Heaven – never questioning such fantasies – it is like those people who drooled over Ponzi-schemes being run by the likes of Madoff! But here in this case, the number of drooling fools number BILLIONS! And these drooling fools are very, very, very willing to throw the rest of humanity under the bus, as long as they get their promised land! Are very willing Nazis!
Heaven makes no sense – no being is keeping billions of shameless leeches, freeloaders sitting about in an idle, lazy, useless, pointless existence for eternity! Or is there?
Ancient Hindus wondered about this and then they looked down upon their dogs and went aha! Here was a being, us, keeping these animals in cozy comfort all their lives – they do no work, they lay about all day, they get free food, shelter, protection, care! Life is good! These dogs are in Heaven!
And so, Hinduism is saying, these people will be reborn/reincarnated/resurrected as our pets! THEN they get their Heaven, but at a price, of course!
