God is our Father, Teacher & NOT our Sugar Daddy

So many pray to God and then it is “Now that I have prayed to you, give me this, give me that”. God seen as a Giver of bounties, to be pleased by our praises.

Stuck with the same mentality of the poor, subjects living under Kings, Dictators, standing before such people with bent backs, praising them, obedient, swearing undying loyalty and seeking their help.

Sadly, Billions of people on this earth view him as a Sugar Daddy – Death is a gateway to a magic land of ease & comfort – Barbie land awaits us, where we get to live in comfort, no more work, no more worries – one lazy day at the beach after another. All with zero evidence of any such lands but amazingly even the best of minds drool over such cheap promises.

It’s frightening because that is not the life that we here in the REAL WORLD – here, we don’t get to live a lazy life sitting idle – as children yes, we get that life, our parents fed, protected, sheltered and cared for us. While they cried in private, they made sure we lived in a happy, safe bubble. But there comes a time, once we come of age, we MUST leave the nest, step out from the safe, comfortable home that our parents raised us in and face the world on our own – find WORK, EARN a living, stand on our own two feet. Make enough to feed ourselves, put a roof over our heads and this is before facing what life throws at us. And we must face life’s problems on our own, no running back to Mommy and Daddy and expecting them to solve our problems for us.

There are cases where adult children have gone back home and lived off their aged parents, but they do it with shame. They know such a stay is temporary, that they MUST find work, earn a living, become independent as they once were.

We seem stuck in the past, even though today, in REAL LIFE, we do not expect anything to be handed to us, we understand to get a job or a promotion, there are certain educational and work-related qualifications that we must obtain. To attain success in any endeavor, we must work hard, sacrifice, deal with setbacks, take risks, never give up! Yet, when it comes to God, we slip into our old ways.

But this nostalgia of the happy days of our childhood never leaves us – so many wax nostalgic about their childhood – when everyone was nice, there were never any troubles at all! Of course, we know that is not true – we were kids then and our parents made sure that we lived in a safe, happy bubble.

But it has opened the door to religions like Christianity & Islam to promise that we can go back to those happy days of our childhood – a Nanny God awaits us, happy to feed, protect, shelter, care for us and yes, keep us in that happy, safe bubble. No work, no worries, we get to be helpless children forever!

Almost all religions promise Heaven and Hell, but these two religions took it a step farther. They have captured God and made him work for their religions – Heaven is colonized by them, God is the gatekeeper keeping out people of other religions and non – that is the rest of humanity, billions of people – families, children, even babies!

A Segregated Apartheid Heaven! Segregated based on belief, religion. Only those who believe in their God may enter and enjoy the joys of Heaven. The rest of humanity condemned to a brutal Hell! A Heaven with a sign saying “Christians Only” or “Muslims Only” similar to the racist signs of “Whites Only” of the past. An Apartheid Heaven where the few enjoy all the benefits and leave little for others – a South Africa of the past.

What is sad is to see Black people, yes, Black people for whom words like Segregation and Apartheid are dirty words are now singing praises of such Heavens! But ah, they are now on the other side! The side that benefits and just so quickly they lose all their morals, values, become the Racists that they despise! Willingly!

ALL based on a cheap easy promise of an everlasting life of comfort, again, with zero evidence. It is this easy for even good, honest people to become willing Racists, Nazis!

ALL based on God being viewed as a Sugar Daddy, the Giver of the good life.

And here we see the difference between the REAL WORLD that we live in, and the fantasy Barbie land of Heaven promised by Religions. Here, nothing is GIVEN, Life is not Easy, nothing is Free. Here, we WORK for a living, to put food on our tables, and a roof over our heads. We EARN what we desire in life, what we obtain. We do not beg, live off charity.

Heaven is GIVEN to the favored, according to Christianity & Islam, like how a sleazy boss promotes the favored, like how Dictators like Putin reward their favored. Life is easy, everything is Free. No one mentions any WORK being done, no one even asks! We get to live as shameless leeches sponging off God for eternity!

And yet this fantasy is fooling even the best of minds!

But in the Mahabharata, God Krishna tells us that He will only advice and instruct us and no more! That is EXACTLY what our aged parents will do for us, our Teachers do for us. When we view God in this manner, then we become True Children of God!

Just as we do not remain helpless children forever, we face the world and its problems as adults, we must solve our problems ourselves. If prayers would solve every problem, no one would be working, no one would make any effort & that is not the world that God created for us.

So, please, pray the right way – ask God for guidance, encouragement, and nothing more! Just as you ask help from your Teacher – it is NOT “Teacher, what is the answer to this problem?”, but it is, “Teacher, how do I solve this problem?” and here the “I” is important. It is YOU who must put in the work, all you may ask the teacher for is to give you the tools to solve the problem and nothing more!

God is like a Teacher, our aged parents – there to guide, instruct and encourage us, nothing more! THEN, we remain True Children of God, one who makes God Proud! Our place is by the side of God, the seat next to Him is ours. Those who view God as a Sugar Daddy have reduced themselves to Slaves/Servants down on their knees on the ground, begging for mercy, shaking with Fear.

Choose where you want to live – the REAL WORLD or chase after the fantasy of Heaven – FYI – there is no Heaven – one cannot live in a Fantasy; God is no Sugar Daddy. That is the true meaning of Reincarnation – asking us to live in the REAL WORLD that God made for us.

There is a famous axiom “Careful what you wish for” – people who wish for a KEPT life of ease & comfort, Hinduism, says will end up as our Pets – take our pet Dog – the good life is GIVEN to it, everything is Free – Free food, shelter, protection, care – no work, no worries – life is Easy. Lay about all day, self-gratifying itself all day! Heaven!

God has taught us thru life that nothing in this world is Free, for everything in life there is a price to pay. But alas, greed has blinded so many, even the best of minds – all that education, intelligence and to end up as Dogs! Lower life forms!
