What happens to Unbelievers? This is a question that is CENSORED! I have tried to have this question published but have encountered censors at every turn. Obviously, I am not going to just ask that question – it would not make it as an opinion piece or even a letter. I expand on that from what I hear, the threats I have received living here in the US. These very same people go around proselytizing all over the world and in villages, rural areas they can be even more bold, more abusive, more threatening.
And encounter here on the streets of Chicago with a couple of young men sent my blood chilling! One was African American to boot (I will connect this up later), who had no problem being open about what happens to Unbelievers – we will be burning in Hell! So basically morals, values, who we are as human beings do not matter – all that matters is belief, religion! That one factor alone will condemn us to a brutal Hell!
And this one factor – religion, belief – condemned millions of Jews to gas chambers in Germany about a 100 years ago! Nothing else mattered – just their religion! Being a Jew was their “crime” – to be punished by a brutal death! No one will be spared – not families, not children, not even babies!
And here I was hearing the same hate words – religion, belief alone matters in their after world! Just like Jews billions of unbelievers will be set apart & condemned to gas chambers in hell! To burn forever! Again, the crime here is religion, belief!
I tried to reason with him – “I asked what if you were in an accident – an atheist could stop by save you and your family, take you to the hospital, Hindu doctors will work to save your life, you and your family will need blood – that blood could come from anyone! And you will condemn such good people to hell?”
The chilling smile did not drop; the nodding did not stop!
I tried reasoning again – “You mean you will dump entire families into Hell? Children, babies? Babies!” – then the smile dropped but not the hate – “not me, God will.”
How is it that young people with intelligence, education are so willing to believe in such Gods and religions that would condemn their neighbors, coworkers, friends and even family to such a horrific fate?
Back in the day, when these religions first originated, the world was much different. People mostly, lived with their own kind – people who looked the same as they did and so back then it was easier to condemn people who were not like them, but to see the same hate today? The sheer willingness to condemn innocent people to such a brutal fate and all because of belief, religion! And all it took for such people to accept such horror, become willing Nazis, was a cheap promise of an eternal life of ease & comfort in Heaven! With zero evidence of any such! Amazing that even the best of minds, most moral of us can be bought so cheaply, so willingly do they sell their Souls, their God!
When I pose this question anywhere on social media, on forums, most often I get hate back – angry responses. The few who gave an answer said that THEY do not believe that people will be set apart based on belief and religion, but I noticed that NONE of them condemn such hate views either! “WE don’t think people will be set apart by religion” that is as far as they would go.
The point is that proselytization works by preaching division and hate – the carrot and stick method – the carrot of Heaven if one converts and the stick of Hell if one does not! But that reduces God to a King, or worse, a Dictator like Putin who does not care for one’s morals, ethics but only cares whether people support him or not and will reward/punish accordingly. Plenty of people have sold their souls and have become Putin’s Cronies, sycophants, yes-men, prostitutes, gigolos – blindly supporting him, doing his bidding, submitting to his every demand and that includes torture, rape and killing of innocents whose “crime” is to not support the brutal dictator. Entire families have been killed, even children have not been spared!
And the top two religions are saying that their God is a Putin, a Kim Jong Un! Lured by the prospect of Heaven – a life of pleasure and comfort – they too will blindly support such religions, use threats of Hell – condemn entire families, women, children, even babies to gas chambers in Hell!
And the point of one of the young men being African American? As dark-skinned people, here in the US and actually much across the world, these people have faced discrimination and hate based solely on their skin color. To a racist, nothing else mattered – not their morals, values, who they were as human beings – their skin color alone condemned them!
And here was one of their own, now condemning me and others like me to a brutal fate based on one factor alone – our belief, religion. Religion changed skin color to belief, religion, and this young man and so many others like him were not willing to become the Racists they despise!
Racism reduces human beings to just one aspect of who they are as people.
Caste reduces human beings to just their Caste.
Sexism reduces women to just their Gender.
Antisemitism reduces a Jewish person to just his belief, religion.
And now, the top two religions are doing the same as those Antisemites – reducing billions to just their belief, religion.
And the frightening part? Out of the above 5, the first 4 are condemned – there are plenty of articles, editorials, letters condemning such hateful ideas, such evil ideas but on the last one, there is silence! You will not find even one letter, article, opinion piece, editorial condemning religious hate, and division!
The media, the intellectuals, the educated, the moral look the other way as these religions use such tactics to proselytize, to push conversions!
Everyday thousands of people die all over the world! The vast majority of them are unbelievers – as I mentioned, families, women, children, babies! And so, every day we witness a Holocaust in their after world! Set apart and condemned to gas chambers in hell! Holocaust fires are burning 24/7 in their afterworld!
So much for all our big talk on morals and ethics! We sell our souls so cheaply, so easily.
