If we are paying public, tax-payer funds for teaching these Morals & Ethics classes, I say it is a waste of good money. These people are nothing but blind book readers. They can read such books at home, no need for us to pay for them to sit in a class and read.
I was on a news site where this good guy did something nice for a child – gave away the baseball ball that he had caught, to a little girl. Wasn’t that nice of him? And there are stories of heroism – a stranger jumps into flood waters to save a child, sometimes the child is saved but the Hero loses his life, or both are never found.
In the comments section, we read plenty of people praising these good guys for their good works. But then I remember, doesn’t their religion say – “Good works won’t get you into Heaven”?
So, if that Hero who tried to save that child is not a believer, he gets dumped into Hell? And that poor child, if she was also not a believer, she too, gets dumped into Hell? Can anyone be that callous, this cruel? But I am the only one asking such questions! So where are all those who study, discuss, and teach morals & ethics? Where are they?
So how does one get into Heaven? One must have belief! But wait, if you think any believer will get in, you are wrong, sir! Only those who have the “right” belief will get in & guess who decides? The religion preaching this division and hate! Only those who believe in THEIR God will get in – the rest – BILLIONS of unbelievers – Entire families, women, children, babies, yes, babies! Will be kept out!
A SEGREGATED Heaven for believers only! Using God to push conversions!
It is like going for a job or promotion interview and being told, you have excellent qualifications, but our standards are sooooo high, no one can meet them and so, sorry, we have decided to go with this lady whom the boss likes, who has zero qualifications!
Do you feel better? Fair? Apparently, NO ONE can meet their exacting standards and so the person whom the boss favors gets the job!
Funny thing, that IS how things get done in Corrupt, Dictator-led countries. Well here too, we call them Nepo babies! But such things are more prevalent in Corrupt, Dictator-led countries like Russia, North Korea! Countries where qualifications do not count for much, what matters are whether you can grease some palms or have high contacts that will push your candidate through!

And again, we look for those who talk Morals and Ethics to speak up but again NONE DO!
In this REAL WORLD, when we incur a debt, we gave our word to repay such debt, with interest – no matter how long it takes and how much it costs us.
Here, in the REAL WORLD, if we make a mistake, we are asked to correct it. For example, I had too much to drink one night but insisted on driving home. Well, I hit a parked car – fortunately, no one was hurt, just material damage. In the light of the day, of course, I am repentant. Brought before the Judge, I am expected to stand tall, take responsibility for my actions, look at my victims straight into their eyes and apologize and ask for their forgiveness, tell them that I will EARN it! I earn it by making sure the damage is repaired at my cost. And until that is done, a replacement car is made available to my victim(s)
My victim could be a single mother driving for Uber, through which she is able to put food on the table, a roof over her family’s heads. I need to make sure she and her family come to no harm.
Forgiveness is EARNED, not Given!
But what does most religions say? Just cry tears of self-pity, repent and nice God will forgive! Forgiveness is Given! Amazingly not once are the victim or victims even mentioned! It is all about how I feel bad! Yes, me! I feel bad about what has happened, “poor me, why does all these bad things happen to me? I am so sad about what happened and now forgive me God, so that I can then scoot off to Heaven and start self-gratifying myself!”
Do that here in the REAL WORLD, in court, and does anyone think the Judge will let me go? Help me cheat my creditors and victims as “God” has done?
First, the Judge will say, “I am the Judge, I do not have the power to forgive you, only the Victim has that right”
Second, “Direct your apologies towards your victims, not to me. It is THEY who are hurting because of your actions; it is THEY who need to hear your apologies”
Third and this is the most important, “You need to pay back your debts. You need to pay for the damages that you caused, pay for the repairs and pay for the rental car that is needed until her car is fully repaid”
Then and only then will the creditors and the victims forgive you.
Again, Forgiveness is EARNED, it cannot be begged for, cried for down on one’s knees and it cannot be Given, certainly not by God!
These are morals and values that we ALL know – no lawyer or judge needs to sit and explain these to us. These are morals & values we all live by
And yet most religions brazenly promise its followers that they can sneak out the back door without repaying their debts, without facing the victims, without correcting our mistakes! God will help us cheat our creditors, victims!
I wrote down most religions because there are faiths like Hinduism that says we cannot run away – we must come back – upon our death, if we have unpaid debts, uncorrected mistakes, we MUST come back – do the right thing.
So, are those who talk morals extolling the Hindu view? Of course not!
Are they condemning those religions that preach there is a back doorway out of doing the right thing? Wrong, again!
And here we can include Lawyers, Law Students and Judges – where are they? Why are they not voicing that God cannot do that, WILL not do that, help the criminal cheat his victims?
Let us get back to the Segregated Heaven again.
Let us imagine what happens if a tragedy happens and an Atheist or Hindu family dies – grandparents, parents, two kids, the mother is pregnant. Obviously since they are not believers or the believers of the “right” kind, they are denied entrance to Heaven. But that is not all, they are condemned to Hell! Yes, children thrown into Hell! Babies, yes, Babies thrown into Hell! Their “crime” being their belief or the lack of it.
What does this remind us of? Does it not remind us of Nazi Germany? There too, people were set apart based on belief, religion. There too, entire families, women, children, babies were set apart and callously dumped into gas chambers in Hell!
People reduced to just one aspect of who they were as Human beings – They were Jews & that one factor alone condemned them to gas chambers!
Same way, Black people are reduced to non-human beings based on one factor alone – their skin color!
Women reduced to their Gender and discriminated!
And now billions of unbelievers – what they did in life, their morals, values, whom they helped – none of that matters – reduced to only one aspect of who they were – their belief or lack of it & that alone gets them gas chambers in Hell!
Thousands of people die every day and most of them are unbelievers and so Holocaust fires are burning 24/7 in the afterworld!
And these ideas are being OPENLY PROMOTED all around the world! Here in the US, see any bus bench or billboard with religious messages, almost all of them talk of a Heaven for believers only! Heavens that are SEGREGATED by religion!
And chilling silence from those who talk, discuss & teach morals, ethics!
Blind book readers! Brainwashed by religion to look the other way!
Why do we need to use our taxpayer money for these people to look the other way?
