Recently, we heard the news(link below) that the Vice-president – JD Vance hopes that his wife will convert to Christianity.
In this article I want to talk about how we view God – God made this huge universe, all these billions of stars, planets, life forms – as such God is the Parent to us ALL – ALL of us, we are His Children.
When God is viewed in such a manner, conversions do not make any sense – gives power to religions using God to push conversions, gain power. What does every Father want from His Children? What does every Child aspire for from a Loving Parent? To make Him Proud! Is that not what we hope for from our elders, our parents, Teachers?
When we greet our Father after a long time, will He not embrace us? Sit us by His side and ask us about our welfare? Ask us what have we done with our Life? Our WORKS, Actions!
Is that not the scenario within loving families? Hinduism says we are ALL Children of God – as such with the right to sit by His side, to EARN a place in God’s Heart and that we do with our Actions, our WORKS!
Our Actions, Works matter – not the name we call God or the religion we belong to
So why the push for conversions? This view comes from viewing God not as a Father, but a Master, a King, a Dictator like Putin – such people will demand absolute & blind belief, loyalty, obedience, submission to them and them alone, one must sing only their praises and no other and based on that rewards/punishments are doled out
We see this unfolding in countries like Russia, North Korea – the few who have sold their souls and blindly support the “Dear loving Master” have been richly rewarded, have done well for themselves, while the vast majority suffer!
THIS is the afterworld of these religions that push conversions. SEGREGATED Heavens just for believers only and that too believers of the “right” kind – the vast majority of humanity to suffer in brutal Hell and that includes families, women, children, even babies!
Unfortunately God is reduced to a Master, a Dictator and followers in turn are reduced to Slaves/Servants – take their Terminology – “Commandments, submit, obey, judge, wrath, punish, mercy, beg, forgive, Fear” – ALL Slave/servant words, completely absent in Hinduism, Buddhism
But why? Why would a child of God reduce himself or herself down to a Slave/Servant? Greed, Greed, Greed! Greed for the easy lazy life, a life of comfort, an eternal life promised! Followers are told this is the way to get into Heaven – just like how things get done in Corrupt or Dictator-led countries like Russia or North Korea
It is not what-you-know but whom-you-know – hence Good works or God’s Work will not get one into Heaven. One must have the “right” contacts, pray to the “right” God and down on one’s knees, one gets in! And then it is easy living for eternity!
What is amazing is that not even the best of minds ask how this makes any sense. Why is God no better than a Putin, a Kim Jong Un? Why is God dividing people based on belief, religion? What does he gain from it? We know why brutal dictators like Putin divide people – with enemies everywhere, they reward those who blindly believe & support them. They are not looking for good people or good works – in fact, those who are willing to commit evil horrors in their support are welcomed! Their henchmen have killed entire families, even children have not been spared!
Are we then surprised at the callousness of the followers of these religions? Willing Nazis ready to burn entire families, women, children, even babies in Hell!
And all it took was a cheap promise of an eternal life of ease & comfort with zero evidence whatsoever! Not even the best of minds ask why the afterworld is so different from the REAL WORLD – Here, no one gives us anything, nothing is Free, Life is not Easy. And then we enter a world there everything is free, the good life is given, life is easy? And all that just by joining a religion?
Religion is, by far, the very best at killing all morals, ethics, reasoning!
Good Works or God’s Work may not get us into Heaven, but they are the ONLY way into God’s Heart, to make our Father Proud!
At the end of the day, the choice is whether we wish to remain True Children of God or lower ourselves to Slaves/Servants serving religion, not God! JD Vance wants his wife to lower herself to a Slave/Servant in the service of the Christian religion, to abandon God, to abandon Morals, values, ethics!
I hope she has the good sense to refuse!
