We live in the REAL WORLD, where childhood lasts for only a short while. But in fact, our childhood lasts a long time when compared to other life forms on this planet – most animals, birds get barely a year or two before their parents kick them out – now they have to fend for themselves and avoid predators – we don’t have to worry about the latter do we? Well, at least not the ones that want to eat us, but we do have to worry about other types.
But anyway, our childhood lasts for years and years – 18 to 20 years and longer sometimes. But the point comes when we must leave the nest, most of us go off to college, but we are still tethered to our parents, this is semi-independence, semi-adulthood. But after that, we must find full-time jobs, WORK for a living, put food on the table, a roof over our heads. We have dreams, hopes, aspirations and we know that they are not going to fall on top of our heads, we must EARN them! And then there is the Adult world! Dealing with nasty people, nasty situations, nasty bosses, and coworkers! Watching the news every day and most times it is depressing. But these are not our parents’ problems anymore, they are ours to face and solve!
That is the story of Adam & Eve – Adam grew up, he was an innocent child no more, he covered himself up! He experienced Adult pleasures. And now must leave the nest!
Even as Children, once we come of age, our parents teach us that nothing in Life is Free, Given nor Easy! As little kids, they indulge us with tales of Santa delivering presents to kids, families. But at a certain age, we learn that there is no Santa – no free presents dropping from the sky! We are taught that working hard, making sacrifices, taking risks, and dealing with the inevitable setbacks is how one succeeds in life!
Sure, there are scum, sycophants, cronies, prostitutes, gigolos, who take the easy way out – they rob, steal, and get ahead. Some of them look for rich Sugar Daddies or mommies to GIVE them the easy good life. They do not want to work hard, sacrifice or deal with setbacks – they want someone to GIVE them good life. We see Dictators like Putin, surrounded by them – they do his bidding, which includes killing innocent people, sing his praises, blindly obey and support him and in return are KEPT in comfort by him, they are GIVEN the rich life.
And so, I wonder, why is the Afterworld that the top two religions describe is sooo different from what our parents, teaches taught us and so like the scum, the sycophants, cronies live like? Their gods favor the few, only those who blindly believe, support, submit and sing their praises are rewarded. Morals, values, who we are as human beings do not matter!
The afterworld of these religions is like living in the past when Kings ruled with an iron fist and rewarded only their favored! Or living in today’s Russia and North Korea! Dictators rule these countries and it is not by good works that one gets ahead in these countries but by blind support, obedience, willing to do all kinds of disgusting things is how one gets ahead, one is rewarded. Putin, before he welcomes a new member into his inner circle is not asking whether this person is a good man, has good values! No sir, all Putin cares for is whether this person will blindly support him, obey him, is willing to kill if necessary. And plenty of his supporters have done exactly that – innocent people tortured, families were targeted and killed, even children have not been spared!
But we do understand why Putin and the Kings of the past behaved that way, right? Enemies were everywhere! There are horrid tales of Kings being killed by their OWN sons for the Throne! A King who lost a war to a neighbor is not going to be sent off to retire, but will be killed! Not just him but his entire family will suffer the same fate! And it’s the same thing with Dictators as well, once deposed, the new Dictator cannot afford to let him live! It is a cruel world for them – morals, values, ethics do not matter to them – loyalty above all to him and him alone
These religions say their afterworld is similar – Good works or God’s Work will not get us into Heaven! They loudly proclaim! What will? Blind belief, support, obedience to their Lord! These are the qualities their Gods are looking for!
Amazingly even the best of minds cannot see a King, a Dictator like Putin in these Gods! Religion remains, by far, the very best at killing all intelligence it seems, the very best at brainwashing even the best of minds!
The top Gods in the 21st century are Putin, Kim Jong Un! Wow!
Here in the REAL WORLD if anyone says, “You got that job or promotion because the boss took a “liking” to you, you did not EARN it!” – that would be an insult, fists will fly!
But that is the NORM in this afterworld! Heaven cannot be earned, the only way in is by polishing the right shoes, kissing the right butt! Those that are polishing the wrong shoes or no shoes at all(atheists) are condemned as Unbelievers, headed straight to Hell! We are talking the vast majority of humanity – families, women, children, even babies! To be callously tossed into burning chambers in Hell! This will make Nazi Germany and their horrors look like nothing!
In fact, since thousands of people die every day and most of them are unbelievers, holocaust fires are burning 24/7 in the afterworld!
What happened to our morals, ethics? Principles? Why do so many sell their Souls, God, and their morals at the altar of religion? And all it took was a cheap promise of an eternal life of ease & comfort, with zero evidence of any such “life.” But wow, does it work!
